Snap-on Beats Q2 EPS, Mixed Segment Performance
Snap-on Inc. reported flat second-quarter 2025 revenue of $1.18 billion, exceeding analyst forecasts despite challenging macroeconomic and trade conditions. Earnings per share reached $4.72, beating expectations, though net earnings and profit margins declined from the previous year due to higher operating expenses. The Tools Group achieved nearly 2% growth, led by strong U.S. sales and demand from auto parts companies and repair shops. The Repair Systems & Information Group also posted gains, while the Commercial & Industrial Group saw declines, particularly in Asia Pacific and Europe, impacted by global inflation and tariffs. CEO Nick Pinchuk expressed confidence in Snap-on’s market-centric manufacturing and expansion in the automotive repair sector. Despite recent growth challenges, the company remains optimistic about maintaining momentum through its diversified strategy.
