Coco Gauff to Lead U.S. Tennis Team at Paris 2024 Olympics

Coco Gauff, the reigning US Open champion and world number two, will make her Olympic debut at the Paris 2024 Olympics after missing the Tokyo Games due to COVID-19. She will lead a six-member American women's tennis team that includes Jessica Pegula, Danielle Collins, and Emma Navarro in singles, with Gauff partnering Pegula in doubles. The men's team will feature Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, Chris Eubanks, and Marcos Giron, with Fritz and Paul also forming a doubles team alongside Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek. Danielle Collins, who plans to retire after this season, will join Desirae Krawczyk in doubles. The Olympic tennis tournament will be held at Roland Garros, and the mixed doubles team will be announced later. The US team aims to build on its historical success, having won 14 gold medals since tennis was reintroduced to the Olympics in 1988.
