Williams Benched for Hall of Fame Game

Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, along with all other starters, will not play in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game against the Houston Texans, as announced by head coach Matt Eberflus. Eberflus explained that the team has had ample padded practices and additional preseason games to prepare, making it unnecessary to risk starters in this extra game.
