A 30-year-old Ukrainian man from the Donetsk region has been charged with five counts of attempted murder or manslaughter with suspected terrorist intent following a stabbing rampage in Amsterdam that injured five people, including two Americans. The attack, which occurred near Dam Square, involved the assailant using multiple knives before being subdued by a bystander. The victims included a 69-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman from the U.S., a 73-year-old Belgian woman, a 26-year-old Polish man, and a 19-year-old woman from Amsterdam, with four victims remaining hospitalized but in stable condition. The suspect, who checked into a hotel the day before the attack, is currently in custody and has not disclosed his motives.
