Body of Missing Woman Found in Freezer in Las Vegas

Las Vegas police are investigating the suspicious death of a 68-year-old woman whose body was found in a locked freezer during a welfare check on November 6. Officers responded to a request after a neighbor reported not seeing the woman since late October and noted suspicious activity at her mobile home. Upon entering the residence, police encountered a man and woman acting suspiciously and subsequently discovered the locked freezer, which contained the woman's remains. The investigation is being treated as a homicide, although the cause of death has not yet been determined. Both individuals found in the home have been taken into custody, and authorities believe the incident is not random.
