Scott Frost Returns as UCF Head Coach

Scott Frost is set to return as the head coach of the UCF Knights, replacing Gus Malzahn who has moved on to become Florida State's offensive coordinator. Frost previously led UCF to a remarkable 19-7 record, including an undefeated 13-0 season in 2017, culminating in a Peach Bowl victory against Auburn and a claimed national championship. He left UCF for Nebraska, where his tenure was less successful, resulting in a 16-31 record before being dismissed in 2022. In 2024, Frost worked as a senior football analyst for the Los Angeles Rams. His return is seen as an attempt to revive the success he once had with the Knights, now competing in the Big 12 conference.
