Notable figures involved in the project include Jimmy Kimmel and Kirker Butler, who will write and produce alongside Lewis. This marks another venture into acting for Lewis, who has previously appeared in various TV shows and films, including his iconic role in Back to the Future. His most recent album, Weather, was released in 2020, and he previously had a Broadway musical based on his music, The Heart of Rock and Roll, which ran earlier this year.
