The Delhi Police have dismantled an al-Qaeda-inspired terror module, arresting 14 suspects across Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh in a coordinated effort with state police forces. The operation led to the seizure of weapons, ammunition, and terrorist materials, with six individuals apprehended in Rajasthan while undergoing weapons training and eight others detained in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. The module was reportedly led by Dr. Ishtiyaq from Ranchi, Jharkhand, who aimed to declare a 'Khilafat' and execute serious terrorist activities in India. The suspects had received training at various locations, and further arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues.
