Community Honors Fallen North Las Vegas Officer Jason Roscow

Officer Jason Roscow, a 17-year veteran of the North Las Vegas Police Department, was honored in a funeral procession and memorial service following his death in the line of duty on February 4. His funeral, attended by family, friends, and fellow officers, reflected the deep community grief over his loss, with hundreds participating in the ceremony. Roscow, remembered for his dedication to service and kindness, left behind two young sons and a legacy of commitment to public safety. The community also paid tribute with a flag memorial at the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign, where flags represented each year of his service. Roscow's passing marked the eighth officer memorialized by local advocate John Waudby in the past decade, highlighting the tragic frequency of such losses. In honor of Roscow, state flags were ordered to half-mast by Governor Lombardo, further demonstrating the community's respect and mourning for the fallen officer.
