JetBlue pilot Jeremy Gudorf found dead after self-inflicted gunshot in Revere

Jeremy Gudorf, a 33-year-old JetBlue pilot from Ohio, fatally shot himself in his car at the Wonderland MBTA Station in Revere, Massachusetts. Gudorf was wanted on charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor in North Carolina and had been arrested at Boston’s Logan Airport on February 20 while preparing for a flight to Paris. After his arrest, he was arraigned in East Boston District Court, released on a $10,000 bail, and instructed to report to North Carolina by February 25. During an attempt by Massachusetts State Police to apprehend him, Gudorf shot himself and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. This incident has impacted commuters at the Wonderland Station, although public transportation services continued to operate normally.
