JetBlue pilot Jeremy Gudorf found dead after self-inflicted gunshot in Revere
Jeremy Gudorf, a 33-year-old JetBlue pilot from Ohio, fatally shot himself in his car at the Wonderland MBTA Station in Revere, Massachusetts. Gudorf was wanted on charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor in North Carolina and had been arrested at Boston’s Logan Airport on February 20 while preparing for a flight to Paris. After his arrest, he was arraigned in East Boston District Court, released on a $10,000 bail, and instructed to report to North Carolina by February 25. During an attempt by Massachusetts State Police to apprehend him, Gudorf shot himself and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. This incident has impacted commuters at the Wonderland Station, although public transportation services continued to operate normally. The case remains under investigation, with authorities providing mental health resources to those affected by the event.
