Ice Cube Honored at TCL Chinese Theatre, Announces Tour

Ice Cube, the legendary rapper and actor, will be honored with a hand- and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, coinciding with the announcement of his first domestic headlining tour in over a decade, titled 'Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude'. The ceremony, scheduled for April 15, features speakers including his son O'Shea Jackson Jr. and comedian Mike Epps, and highlights Ice Cube's illustrious career that began with N.W.A in the late 1980s. Cube's solo career launched with the platinum album 'AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted' in 1990, and he has since released 11 studio albums and starred in numerous successful films. The tour will kick off on September 4 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, showcasing a major production unlike any he has done before. Cube expressed that the tour represents a celebration of 40 years of his music, emphasizing the need for truth and power in the world. He is also a co-founder of the BIG3 basketball league and has been recognized with various awards, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for N.W.A in 2024.
