Three hospitalized in two-vehicle crash, Lambeg
A two-vehicle crash in Lambeg, County Antrim, on Sunday around 4:40 PM resulted in three individuals being taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital after receiving treatment at the scene. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service reported the incident, which led to the Lambeg Road being closed in both directions, with diversions set up at the junctions with Bells Lane and River Road. Local police also attended multiple collisions that day, noting that in one incident, four passengers fled from a vehicle but were later located, thanks to community assistance. Officers emphasized the seriousness of such incidents and the potential for severe injuries. Additionally, police made detections for various driving offenses, including driving without insurance or valid licenses, and suspected impairment through drugs or alcohol.
