Ivanisevic Ends Coaching Rybakina Amid Vukov Controversy

Goran Ivanisevic has announced that he will cease coaching world number six Elena Rybakina following her Australian Open exit. The partnership, which began in December on a trial basis, ended after Rybakina's fourth-round loss to Madison Keys. Ivanisevic's departure coincides with Rybakina's decision to rehire her former coach Stefano Vukov, who is currently under investigation and suspended by the WTA for alleged misconduct. Rybakina has stated Vukov never mistreated her, and despite his suspension, he joined her team in Melbourne. Ivanisevic, known for coaching Novak Djokovic to multiple Grand Slam titles, was reportedly blindsided by the announcement of Vukov's return. He had considered quitting prior to the Australian Open but was persuaded to continue temporarily by Rybakina.
