Dream Theater Plans 40th Anniversary Australian Tour

Dream Theater, the GRAMMY-winning progressive metal band, has announced their 40th Anniversary Tour for Australia in February 2026, marking their first visit there in 15 years. The tour, titled An Evening With Dream Theater, will feature performances in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and will be the first Australian tour since the return of founding drummer Mike Portnoy. The band will perform classics and fan favorites from their extensive catalogue, including landmark albums like Images & Words, Awake, and Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory. Dream Theater has sold millions of records worldwide, amassed over a billion streams, achieved three Top 10 Billboard 200 debuts, and won a GRAMMY Award for Best Metal Performance. Pre-sale tickets begin on September 9, with general sales starting September 10, available through Destroy All Lines.
