Holyoke Police Arrest 19-Year-Old After Domestic Assault, Chase, Seize Firearms and Drugs
Holyoke Police recently conducted a series of arrests related to domestic assault and drug offenses. Jayden Moquin, 19, was arrested after a domestic assault where he allegedly pointed a firearm at a victim, choked her, and took her child before fleeing in a vehicle, leading to a high-speed police pursuit. During the chase, Moquin abandoned his vehicle and dropped a bag containing two loaded firearms, including a high-capacity one, approximately 117 bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl, and over $500 in cash. He faces multiple charges including possession of firearms without proper identification, possession with intent to distribute drugs, and assault-related offenses. In a separate incident, Santiago Soltren-Ramriez, 37, was arrested for trespassing in an apartment building and found with around 80 bags of suspected heroin/fentanyl and more than $100 in cash, facing drug distribution charges. Additionally, Kyle Konrad, 45, was arrested after being found unconscious in a vehicle with crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, highlighting ongoing efforts by Holyoke Police to combat drug-related crime in the city.
