EKA High School Art Contest Announces Winners in Tallinn

High school art competitions and student design challenges have recently recognized young artists for their creative contributions. In Estonia, the 'Useful Art?! Humanity and Work' competition awarded grand prizes to Ashton Laid and Mirjam Märtin, with additional honors given for works portraying themes like frustration and invisible labor. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, thousands of students participated in the Sphere XO Student Design Challenge, with eight winners having their Earth Day-inspired artwork displayed on the Sphere's Exosphere through summer 2025. The events highlight the diversity of youth artistic expression and engagement with social and environmental issues, as well as the broad range of mediums and themes explored by students. Both competitions emphasize the importance of fostering creativity and recognizing young talent in contemporary art spaces.
