Richard Childress Racing Expands NASCAR Operations

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) is expanding its NASCAR Cup Series operations for 2025 by introducing a part-time third car, although specific drivers and events remain unannounced. Andy Street, the newly appointed crew chief for this entry, will also contribute to the Xfinity Series, emphasizing RCR's focus on internal development and talent promotion. Following a challenging 2024 season where neither of its main drivers qualified for the playoffs, RCR aims to strengthen its competitive edge with these changes. Chad Haney will take over as crew chief for Austin Hill in the Xfinity Series, succeeding Street, while Danny Stockman continues his role with another driver.
