RCMP Dismantles Major Drug Superlab in BC
Canadian police have dismantled the largest and most sophisticated drug superlab in the country, located in Falkland, British Columbia, with operations extending to Surrey. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) seized a massive cache of illicit drugs, including 54 kilograms of fentanyl, 390 kilograms of methamphetamine, and significant amounts of cocaine, MDMA, and cannabis. The operation, described as a major hit to transnational organized crime, also resulted in the confiscation of 89 firearms, explosive devices, and $500,000 in cash. The seized fentanyl alone could have produced 95.5 million potentially lethal doses. Gaganpreet Randhawa has been arrested and faces multiple charges related to drug and firearms offenses. This bust is seen as a significant step in enhancing public safety in Canada and potentially abroad.
