Rachel Bouressa Appointed to Wisconsin Natural Resources Board

Governor Tony Evers has appointed Rachel Bouressa, a fifth-generation dairy farmer from Waupaca County, to the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board, replacing Paul Buhr. Bouressa, who has degrees in agronomy and environmental science, also serves as the director at-large on the Wisconsin Farmers Union board and works with GrassWorks, a non-profit promoting sustainable grazing practices. Evers emphasized the importance of the agricultural industry to Wisconsin's economy and expressed confidence in Bouressa's expertise in agriculture and environmental science. Bouressa stated her commitment to connecting agriculture and conservation, expressing her honor in representing farmers on the board. Bouressa manages her family’s dairy farm, utilizing intensive rotational grazing on 120 acres.
