Michael Greller Caddies for Max Homa at The Sentry

Jordan Spieth's long-time caddie, Michael Greller, will caddy for Max Homa at The Sentry, the opening event of the 2025 PGA Tour season, as Spieth recovers from wrist surgery following an injury sustained while playing with his son. Spieth, who has been sidelined since the 2024 season due to complications from the injury, has not met the qualifying criteria for the event. Greller has been with Spieth since 2011 and is expected to temporarily fill in for Homa’s regular caddie, Joe Greiner, who is unavailable this week. Despite their strong partnership, Greller's style, which includes lengthy discussions before Spieth's shots, has drawn some scrutiny. Homa, who is seeking a change of fortunes after a disappointing 2024 season, appears open to Greller's approach. The Sentry at Kapalua will feature a $20 million purse and includes a competitive field of 60 players.
