WWE NXT is set to go on the road for a live episode on December 17, 2023, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts, marking the third road event since its move to The CW. During the latest episode, a #1 contenders match for the NXT World Championship was announced for next week, featuring Andre Chase against Ridge Holland, with Chase's loss resulting in the disbandment of Chase U. Shawn Spears also introduced Niko Vance as a new acolyte and issued a challenge for the NXT North American Championship, ultimately giving Brooks Jensen the title shot instead. Ticket pre-sales for the Lowell event will start on November 19, with general sales on November 20. This venue previously hosted the NXT Battleground pay-per-view in May 2023, reinforcing its significance for wrestling events in the area.
