Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross Launch Future Ruins Film Composer Festival in Los Angeles

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, known for their work as Nine Inch Nails and acclaimed film composers, have announced Future Ruins, a new music and arts festival celebrating film and television composers. The inaugural festival will be held on November 8 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, featuring a diverse lineup of influential composers such as John Carpenter, Danny Elfman, Mark Mothersbaugh, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Questlove performing Curtis Mayfield's scores, and many others. The event is designed to be immersive and encourages artists to reimagine their work for live audiences, with no headliners or hierarchy, emphasizing a collective showcase of visionaries. Reznor described the festival as an opportunity for these composers to tell new stories in a live setting, highlighting their ability to take audiences on emotional journeys through music. Tickets for Future Ruins go on sale May 21, and the festival will span three stages, offering electronic sets, live bands, and orchestral performances. This marks a unique celebration of composers stepping out from behind the screen to the stage, curated by Reznor and Ross and presented by Live Nation.
