Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has selected Infosys to spearhead its digital transformation initiative named DIVE (Digital Innovation and Value Enhancement). Infosys will develop a NextGen Digital Platform that integrates AI and cloud services to improve customer engagement, operational efficiency, and market responsiveness. This platform will feature modular, flexible, and cloud-native architecture, allowing for the quick adoption of innovative technologies and the creation of high-value business applications like customer and sales super apps, portals, and a digital branch. Infosys will provide turnkey system integration services using AI capabilities from Infosys Topaz and cloud services from Infosys Cobalt, ensuring ongoing monitoring and maintenance. The partnership aims to enhance LIC's digital services for customers, agents, and employees, while also integrating with financial technology and bancassurance partners. LIC's recent financial performance shows a 9.61% year-on-year rise in net profit for Q1FY25, driven by strong growth in group business premiums.
