Lzzy Hale, the frontwoman of Halestorm, shared a humorous anecdote about breaking up with a date who fell asleep during a Tool concert while discussing the albums that impacted her life in a recent interview with Guitar Player. Hale recounted her excitement about attending the show with her brother Arejay, who plays drums in Halestorm, until he was grounded by their parents. Instead, she asked a guy named Nate to join her, but during the concert, he dozed off, which she deemed a 'total deal-breaker'. Hale reflected on how Tool's album 'Lateralus' played a significant role in her life, describing the experience of listening to it as akin to watching a horror film. She humorously noted that her brother still mocks her date's behavior, stating, 'I wouldn’t have fallen asleep.' Currently, Hale is involved with her band Halestorm and has been performing at various events.
