Prime Video’s The Girlfriend Debuts September 10

Prime Video will release all six episodes of the psychological thriller series 'The Girlfriend' on September 10, streaming in over 240 countries. Starring Robin Wright as Laura and Olivia Cooke as Cherry, the show is based on Michelle Frances' bestselling novel and explores growing tension and suspicion between a protective mother and her son's mysterious girlfriend. Laura becomes increasingly paranoid that Cherry, who comes from a working-class background, may have a sinister agenda, while Cherry also questions Laura's motives.
