Miami-Dade Schools Secure $13.5M Adidas Partnership for 41 High Schools

Miami-Dade County Public Schools has entered into a landmark $13.5 million, five-year partnership with Adidas to become the official athletic apparel and equipment provider for all 40 high schools within the Greater Miami Athletic Conference. This deal includes outfitting student-athletes with new Adidas uniforms, including the adiZero Electric football uniform, and renaming Traz Powell Stadium as Adidas Field. Superintendent Dr. Jose Dotres highlighted the district's strong pipeline of athletic talent and the partnership's potential to empower and inspire student-athletes across the county. Previously, schools had to rely on fundraising or general budgets to purchase gear, but the new deal alleviates that financial burden, allowing more focus on athletic development. Adidas will also benefit commercially through a new online storefront selling official merchandise for local high schools, reinforcing its investment in the region's future sports stars.
