Bucs Likely Have Mayfield, Godwin, Wirfs vs Eagles
The Buccaneers are expected to have QB Baker Mayfield, WR Chris Godwin and All‑Pro LT Tristan Wirfs available for Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles after being listed questionable; Mayfield threw more in practice, Wirfs has been fully practicing after July arthroscopic knee surgery and says he’s “pain free,” and Godwin is returning from last season’s ankle surgery. Their potential returns are timely because top receiver Mike Evans is expected to miss 3–4 weeks with a hamstring strain, and defensive lineman Logan Hall also practiced this week and could play. Philadelphia will be without CB Adoree’ Jackson (groin) and has placed CB Jakorian Bennett, OLB Nolan Smith and WR Darius Cooper on injured reserve, making former fourth‑round pick Kelee Ringo the likely Week 4 starter at corner. The Eagles activated Marcus Epps, TE Cameron Latu and CB Parry Nickerson to replace the IR moves and will rely on a mix of edge options including Jalyx Hunt, Za’Darius Smith and Josh Uche. Both teams enter the game 3–0, setting up a marquee matchup between two unbeaten squads.
