Wicked, Dune: Part Two Win MPSE Golden Reel Awards

The 72nd Motion Picture Sound Editors' Golden Reel Awards were held in Los Angeles, recognizing achievements in sound editing, design, and music across film and television. Major winners included 'Wicked' for Outstanding Achievement in Music Editing, 'Dune: Part Two' for Feature Effects/Foley, and 'Saturday Night' for Feature Dialogue/ADR. 'The Wild Robot' won for Feature Animation, while 'Emilia Pérez' was awarded the Feature International prize. The ceremony also honored Kevin Costner with the Filmmaker Award and Greg Hedgepath with the Career Achievement Award, recognizing their contributions to the industry. Among the television winners were FX’s 'Shōgun' and Hulu’s 'Only Murders in the Building.' Special guests, including local firefighters, were acknowledged for their courage during the recent Los Angeles wildfires.
