Remains of Missing Minnesota Teen Manny Collins Confirmed

Human remains found over the weekend have been positively identified as Jordan “Manny” Collins Jr., a 16-year-old boy from Columbia Heights, Minnesota, who had been missing since early May. Collins was last seen on May 8 near his father’s apartment, and authorities believe his disappearance was against his will. Investigations had focused on a landfill in Elk River, though officials have not confirmed the exact location where the remains were found. Several agencies, including the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, Columbia Heights Police Department, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and the FBI, are actively investigating the case. A person of interest has been identified, but no arrests have been made yet.
