Dodgers Land Three Fan-Elected NL All-Star Starters

Los Angeles Dodgers stars Will Smith, Freddie Freeman, and Shohei Ohtani have been elected as National League starters for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, with Ohtani receiving the most votes in Phase 1. This marks the first time in 45 years that the Dodgers have three fan-elected starters, matching the Detroit Tigers as the only teams to do so for this year's game. Smith, in his third straight All-Star appearance and first as a starter, leads the NL with a .320 batting average, while Freeman, a nine-time All-Star, has remained productive despite a mid-season slump. Other NL starters include Pete Crow-Armstrong, Kyle Tucker, Ketel Marte, Francisco Lindor, and Manny Machado. Several Dodgers, including Mookie Betts and Max Muncy, were finalists but could still be named as reserves when those selections are announced. The All-Star Game will take place on July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta, with nine first-time starters across both leagues.
