Former King Crimson Members Release Live Video for BEAT Tour

The band BEAT, featuring legendary King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin alongside guitar virtuoso Steve Vai and Tool drummer Danny Carey, has released a live performance of "Frame By Frame" from their upcoming album Beat Live. The project celebrates and creatively reinterprets three iconic 1980s King Crimson albums: Discipline, Beat, and Three of a Perfect Pair. In 2024, BEAT performed 65 sold-out shows across North America, followed by tours in Mexico and South America in 2025, capturing a sold-out performance at the United Theater in Los Angeles for the live album. The album Beat Live will be released on September 26 in multiple formats, including a 3-LP set, a Blu-ray with two CDs, and a limited collector’s edition featuring additional content. Band members express deep admiration for the music and the collaborative experience, highlighting the technical complexity and timelessness of the material. BEAT will also perform a record-release show at Tokyo's Budokan on September 1, underscoring their commitment to honoring King Crimson's legacy with high-energy and innovative live performances.
