CBS Develops Spinoff Series Featuring Marcel Spears, Sheaun McKinney

CBS is developing a spinoff of its hit comedy series "The Neighborhood," centered around characters Marty and Malcolm Butler, played by Marcel Spears and Sheaun McKinney. This potential series will be introduced as a planted spinoff during the Season 7 finale, with the storyline following the brothers as they leave their family home and move to Venice Beach. The new show aims to explore their adventures in a neighborhood that is both familiar and distinctly different from their previous one. Three new characters will also be introduced, including a tech millionaire and a wannabe influencer. While the series has not yet been officially greenlit, it is being considered for the 2025-26 broadcast season. Additionally, CBS is working on another spinoff for Paramount+ titled "Crutch," which will also connect to "The Neighborhood."
