Norris Wins Miami Sprint, Verstappen Takes Pole
Lando Norris won a rain-affected Sprint race at the Miami Grand Prix, capitalizing on a safety car to finish ahead of teammate Oscar Piastri, with Lewis Hamilton third after an early tire change. The Sprint was disrupted by heavy rain and incidents, including a formation lap crash by Charles Leclerc and a 10-second penalty for Max Verstappen that relegated him to 17th. In main Grand Prix qualifying, Max Verstappen claimed pole position by 0.065 seconds over Norris, with rookie Kimi Antonelli impressively qualifying third. Verstappen's pole is his third consecutive in Miami, while Hamilton exited in Q2 for Ferrari. Verstappen also broke McLaren's Richard Mille watch monopoly by wearing a Tag Heuer on pole. With unpredictable weather, anticipation is high as title contenders Verstappen, Norris, and Piastri prepare for Sunday's race.
