Lippert Wins Stage 6, Reusser Still Leads Giro

Germany's Liane Lippert won stage six of the 2025 Giro d'Italia Women, outsprinting Pauliena Rooijakkers after a decisive two-rider breakaway to finish in Terre Roveresche. Lippert celebrated her second consecutive stage six victory, calling it her lucky number. Her Movistar teammate, Marlen Reusser of Switzerland, retained the pink leader's jersey by safely finishing in the peloton and holds a 16-second lead over defending champion Elisa Longo Borghini. Rooijakkers’ strong performance moved her up to fourth in the overall standings. The 145km stage included a challenging route and a passage through San Marino. The competition intensifies ahead of the crucial mountain stages.
