The company reported a sharp increase in profits, achieving a £626 million pre-tax profit boosted by a rise in turnover to £3.7 billion and cost reductions. Coates' leadership has been pivotal in transforming Bet365 into one of the leading online gambling companies, with a family wealth estimated at £8 billion. Additionally, Bet365 contributed £120 million to the Denise Coates Foundation, a charitable organization under family control, which is part of a strategy to manage tax liabilities. Coates, known for her low-profile lifestyle, has been a significant taxpayer, with her family contributing £375.9 million to the UK exchequer in 2023.
