The series, consisting of three matches in Multan and Rawalpindi, was initially uncertain due to a lack of bids from UK networks following a tender from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). England's captain Ben Stokes is included in the squad as he recovers from a hamstring injury, while the series forms part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. The agreement with Sky is pending PCB board approval, and it remains unclear if it will extend beyond this series. Meanwhile, TNT Sports has not shown interest in the series despite holding rights for other international matches.
