Sainsbury's Argos recruit 19,000 seasonal UK jobs Christmas

Sainsbury's and Argos, both part of the Sainsbury's group, have launched a recruitment drive to hire around 19,000 seasonal staff for the busy Christmas period, including 17,000 roles at Sainsbury's and 2,000 at Argos. Available positions cover a range of duties such as serving customers, stocking shelves, deliveries, and working in warehouse fulfillment. Hourly pay varies by role and location, with in-store and warehouse workers earning between £12.60 and £13.85, Argos drivers between £13.60 and £14.85, and Sainsbury's drivers between £14.10 and £15.35. Employees will benefit from free food during shifts and discounts starting at 10%, rising to 15% on specific days.
