Sweden Probes Iranian Link to Embassy Attacks

Swedish intelligence agency Sapo has suggested possible Iranian involvement in recent attacks near Israeli embassies in Sweden and Denmark, citing the choice of targets and modus operandi as potential indicators. The incidents involved explosions near the Copenhagen embassy and a shooting at the Stockholm embassy. Danish police arrested three Swedish nationals in connection with the Copenhagen blasts, with two remaining in custody. There are claims that the attacks were orchestrated by the Swedish criminal network Foxtrot at Iran's behest, although Iran has denied similar past allegations, including recruiting Swedish gang members for violent acts. These events coincide with heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, with historical precedence of alleged Iranian-backed attacks on Israeli interests globally.
