The Vampire Diaries Cast Reunites for Michael Trevino Wedding in Spain

Michael Trevino, known for his role as Tyler Lockwood on The Vampire Diaries, married model Bregje Heinen in a destination wedding held in Spain on June 20, 2025. The ceremony doubled as a reunion for many Vampire Diaries and The Originals cast members, including Nina Dobrev, Candice King, Zach Roerig, Kayla Ewell, Steven Krueger, and Charles Michael Davis, along with showrunner Julie Plec and writer Carina Adly MacKenzie. Heinen wore a custom Katherine Tash bridal gown and later changed into a Galia Lahav dress for the reception, where the couple shared a kiss and cut a two-tiered cake. Trevino and Heinen have been together since 2020 and announced their engagement in December 2023. The wedding featured elegant floral arrangements and was planned by Mallorca Lovestory, with many guests sharing photos and tributes on social media. Trevino has also been involved in filmmaking, directing and producing the short film Two Roads, which features his TVD co-star Michael Malarkey and Heinen.
