Feyenoord interested in Wolves
Feyenoord has abandoned its pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Boubacar Traore after he sustained an injury during an EFL Cup match, sidelining him for an extended period. The Dutch club had been interested in signing Traore, who has a contract with Wolves until 2027, and had previously submitted a €15 million offer that was rejected. Despite interest from Borussia Mönchengladbach and RC Lens, Feyenoord's hopes were dashed as Wolves would require a replacement before allowing Traore to leave on loan. Traore has not featured in Wolves' opening Premier League games this season and is still recovering from his Olympic commitments with Mali. Wolves are actively seeking new players to strengthen their squad before the transfer deadline, which further complicates Traore's potential departure.
