Tributes for Halifax Mum, Sue Davies, Killed in Hit-and-Run

Sue Davies, a 50-year-old mother of five from Halifax, was killed after being struck by a burgundy Mazda 5 TS2 in a hit-and-run incident on Crag Lane near The Flying Pig pub in Wheatley. The vehicle failed to stop, and two teenagers aged 15 and 18 were later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving; both have since been released on bail pending further enquiries. Davies was remembered by her family as a 'great, vibrant character' who was well known in her community and will be 'sadly missed.' West Yorkshire Police are continuing to investigate and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information or footage related to the incident to come forward.
