Minivan Crash in LA Injures Nine, Not Intentional

A minivan crashed into a crowd in downtown Los Angeles' Fashion District, injuring at least nine people, including three children, near Santee Alley, a popular open-air shopping venue. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m., and while all victims were in 'fair condition' and transported to local hospitals, two women declined treatment against medical advice. Investigations are ongoing, with authorities currently not suspecting the crash was intentional, nor do they believe drugs or alcohol were involved. The minivan knocked down several barriers and part of an awning collapsed on it, complicating recovery efforts. Traffic around 12th Street was disrupted as the Los Angeles Department of Transportation managed the scene.
