Hadestown Welcomes New Cast Members

The acclaimed musical 'Hadestown' is set to welcome new cast members starting January 14, with Tony nominee Hailey Kilgore taking on the role of Eurydice, Carlos Valdes as Orpheus, and Tom Hewitt returning as Hades. This change comes as the production continues its successful run at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The trio replaces Maia Reficco, Jordan Fisher, and Phillip Boykin, who concluded their performances on January 12. Additionally, Tony nominee Daniel Breaker and BAFTA winner Merle Dandridge are slated to join the cast as Hermes and Persephone, respectively, on February 18. 'Hadestown', which intertwines the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice with the tale of Hades and Persephone, is celebrating its fifth year and has garnered critical acclaim, winning eight Tony Awards in 2019. The show's innovative direction by Rachel Chavkin and music by Anaïs Mitchell continue to captivate audiences.
