Three Mexican Men Arrested for Illegal Entry

Three Mexican men were detained on September 23 for allegedly entering the U.S. illegally by crossing the St. Clair River from Canada on a raft. The U.S. Coast Guard alerted the Port Huron Police Department after the men abandoned their raft near the mouth of the Black River. Officers responded quickly, locating the men carrying duffel bags and running on Michigan Street. They were subsequently turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for illegal entry.
