Jordan Black, a 35-year-old golf superfan from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, has tattooed the faces of key members of the triumphant 2023 European Ryder Cup team on his left leg, including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Jon Rahm, Tommy Fleetwood, Ludvig Aberg, and captain Luke Donald. Although he aimed to complete the tattoo before the Open Championship at Royal Portrush, he fell short of that goal but plans to finish it before the Ryder Cup in New York in September. Black recently met Jon Rahm, one of the players inked on his leg, who expressed admiration for the tattoo, saying he really likes it. The tattoo also features symbolic elements such as the phrase "Veni, Vidi, Vici," the colors of the European team, the Ryder Cup badge, and references to the documentary "Una Famiglia" about the team's victory. Black, a member of Carrickfergus Golf Club and a 20-year golf player, is excited to watch the Open's second round with his family and hopes to add more star players to his tattoo collection.
