Authorities Release Crime Scene Photos from Idaho Quadruple Student Murders

Authorities released nearly 200 crime scene photos from the off-campus residence in Moscow, Idaho, where Bryan Kohberger murdered four University of Idaho students in November 2022. The images depict blood spatters on walls, floors, and doors, blood-soaked blankets, clothing, and shoes, as well as eerie handprints on a window, highlighting the brutality of the attack. Kohberger pleaded guilty to the murders to avoid the death penalty and was sentenced to four consecutive life terms without parole. The home, now demolished, showed signs of a once lively college environment with remnants of social activities alongside the haunting evidence of the crime. Surveillance footage also revealed Kohberger’s movements near the scene around the time of the killings. The release of these photos followed the lifting of a gag order after the sentencing, providing new insight into the investigation and the violent events that shocked the community.
