Ghost of Yōtei PS5 Launch Set for October 2025

Sony and Sucker Punch have announced that Ghost of Yōtei, a follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima, will launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025, with a likely PC release at a later date. The game features a new protagonist, Atsu, who seeks vengeance against the Yōtei Six, while exploring broader themes beyond revenge. Players can choose their targets in an open-world setting with new mechanics such as reliving memories and setting campfires anywhere. Ghost of Yōtei will be available in standard, digital deluxe, and collector’s editions, with pre-orders opening May 2 and offering exclusive in-game and avatar bonuses. The launch is timed ahead of major fall releases, including Grand Theft Auto VI and Borderlands 4. A new trailer showcases Atsu’s journey, the setting, and enhanced gameplay elements.
