Trio charged with robbery, shooting in Oakland's Montclair District

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a robbery and shooting that occurred on April 2 in Oakland's Montclair District, leaving a man hospitalized after being shot three times. The suspects, identified as 19-year-old Kelvin Davis, 21-year-old Keyjuanne McGhee, and a juvenile, face multiple felony charges including robbery and assault with a firearm. Davis, believed to be the shooter, could face 40 years to life in prison due to a prior offense, while McGhee faces a potential sentence of over seven years. The Alameda County District Attorney's office has confirmed that the victim is recovering and is expected to be released from the hospital soon. Law enforcement officials executed 27 search warrants during the investigation, leading to the recovery of multiple firearms. The juvenile's case will be handled by the Alameda County Juvenile Justice Center.
