NASA Names Crew for SpaceX Crew-10 Mission

NASA has announced the astronauts for its SpaceX Crew-10 mission, set to launch to the International Space Station (ISS) in February 2025. The crew includes NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, JAXA's Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos's Kirill Peskov. McClain will command the mission, marking her second trip to the ISS, while Ayers and Peskov will be making their first spaceflights. Meanwhile, NASA is deliberating whether to bring back astronauts aboard Boeing's Starliner spacecraft using SpaceX's Crew Dragon due to unresolved thruster issues. Additionally, SpaceX and NASA are set to launch a cargo mission carrying over 3,500 kg of supplies and scientific equipment to the ISS involving Northrop Grumman's Cygnus spacecraft, including experiments on water recovery, stem cell production, and microorganism DNA studies.
