Doriane Pin claimed victory in Race 1 of the F1 Academy weekend in Qatar, dominating the race after starting from pole position. Abbi Pulling finished second, securing her status as the 2024 F1 Academy World Champion, marking a historic achievement as the first champion of the series. Pulling's performance throughout the season included seven wins, allowing her to clinch the title with a race to spare. Despite Pulling's early season challenges, she consistently built a significant points lead, ultimately needing just 16 points in this race to secure the championship. Maya Weug completed the podium in third place, while Red Bull’s Hamda Al Qubaisi and Wild Card Alisha Palmowski rounded out the top five.
